The CANCON17 programme will focus on topics that are critical to the long-term success and sustainability of the global canned fruit industry.
Advancing the Global Canned Fruit Industry Together
The global canned fruit industry will gather in South Africa for CANCON17, hosted from 8–12 March 2027 at the renowned Grand Roche Hotel in Paarl, in the heart of the Western Cape's fruit-growing region.
Bringing together producers, processors, marketers, researchers, industry organisations, and trade representatives from around the world, CANCON17 will provide a platform for meaningful discussion, knowledge sharing, and collaboration on the issues shaping the future of the canned fruit industry.
Against a backdrop of changing consumer behaviour, market uncertainty, sustainability requirements, production challenges, technological advances, and evolving global trade dynamics, CANCON17 aims to foster practical dialogue and stronger international cooperation across the industry.

One of the cornerstones of CANCON is the sharing of industry feedback from participating countries. Delegates will hear first-hand updates from representatives of:
-
South Africa
-
Argentina
-
Brazil
-
Chile
-
China
-
Greece
-
Spain
-
United States of America
These sessions will provide valuable perspectives on production outlooks, consumer demand, market developments, trade conditions, processing trends, industry challenges, and future opportunities from across the globe.
